Pressure cleaning is a method practiced by many a pressure cleaning company that uses water and pressure, where a water stream is pressurized and aimed at outdoor and indoor surfaces, furniture, and other materials to leave them looking as good as new. The machine that makes this type of cleaning service available was invented by Alfred Kärcher in the 1950s. In fact, in some countries, the word Kärcher is used to refer to the machine itself.
